Hello and Welcome

My name is Alberto Garcia and I am an Interaction Designer and Information Architect. I have been working in the User Experience field for the past two years focusing on the importance of user centered design.

I began as a graphic designer, but graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Degree in Music Business. While trying to find my niche in the music industry, I met musicians who asked me to design their websites. This in turn, led me to pursue another degree, a degree in web design and interactive media.

During the course of my studies, I discovered user experience design. I had now been given the challenge to deliver a product where I combined what a user needs, a user's behaviors with different technologies, user backgrounds, business requirements, and innovative design.

I have been part of different sorts of projects in the last couple of years. Here you will be able to view some projects I have worked on which have gone live as well as some of my work samples.
